This fridge looks like an expensive appliance however it's not the same. Its counter-depth dimensions help you achieve that look of a built-in design for less than a custom fridge. It also does a great job of concealing the ice maker and water dispenser behind a fake panel, making it look more streamlined than models that show the appliances. It has some minor flaws with the design that prevent it from being as good.
The biggest issue with this Frigidaire is that it's counter-depth, which means it's losing around 7 cubic feet of usable space compared to the same Gallery fridge in the standard depth measurements. This is a significant loss especially for a fridge that costs close to $3500.
However, the fridge still does a great job of ensuring steady temperatures in its cooling and freezer compartments. It also did very well in our spill test, keeping liquids and water in check, even on the top shelves.
The Frigidaire is an excellent option if you're looking for an open-door refrigerator with an enormous, adjustable flex drawer. It comes with a smudge-proof stainless steel finish and the left door is smaller than the right one, making it easier to access the controls of the fridge. The flex drawer has different temperature settings, so it can be used as a cooler, freezer, or for chilling wine or drinks.
This fridge is easy to use, but it's not as intuitive as the other refrigerators we've tested.
